Wholesale nurseries and growers sell to landscapers and sometimes to the public at volume prices; tree nurseries sell balled-and-burlapped and container trees and can deliver and plant large specimens. Specialty growers focus on bonsai, cactus and succulents, orchids or native plants, and hydroponics stores sell lights, nutrients and systems for growing indoors.

Fort Worth is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Fort Worth follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Had a great experience at Guardado Garden Center! They have a wide selection of healthy plants, flowers, and gardening supplies, and everything was well organized. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions without making me feel rushed. Prices were fair with good sales. And it’s clear they take pride in keeping the nursery looking great. I’ll definitely be coming back for future gardening projects. Highly recommend!

I've been to a lot of cactus shops. A lot. People ask me all the time, "What's the best cactus shop in the DFW Metroplex?" And I tell them, it's this one. Nobody does it better. Believe me. The quality of these cacti is incredible. Absolutely beautiful plants. Healthy, strong, and taken care of the right way. You can tell the people here know exactly what they're doing. They have tremendous knowledge, and it shows in every single plant. Now let's talk about the prices. Fantastic prices. Very fair. Frankly, I don't know how they do it. Other shops should be taking notes because the value here is unbelievable. Whether you're a beginner or a serious collector like me, you're getting an amazing deal. The selection? Incredible. Rare specimens, classic favorites, everything you could want. Every time you walk in, there's something exciting to see. It's a winner. I've seen cactus shops all over, and this is, without question, the absolute best cactus shop in the DFW Metroplex. Great people, great plants, great prices. Total five-star operation. Highly recommended. Believe me.

My new favorite garden center! I have lived here so long and cant believe I just now found this gem of a place. I had family visiting from Oklahoma and they wanted a unique garden center where they could buy pots and this was a perfect experience and we found so many unique pots and plants. Will definitely be returning! This was my little treasure I came home with.

This is one of the coolest nursies in DFW. They have an amazing selection of cactus, succulents, and talavera. I bought this really neat prickly pear with dark spots I was later able to identify as opuntia decumbens.
